Two bad Omens?
A half hour ago, there was a huge *THUMP* outside that sent me and most of the residents in a two block area running outside.

There's more then 2 dozen emergency vehicles, most of them ambulances, with their sirens blazing and everyone running back and forth like mad.

What happened? An FDNY ambulance (no sirens) hit a car. Hit pretty hard, but everyone's ok, or at least ok enough to get out and walk around.

But a dozen and half ambulances show up, FDNY and PDNY and local hospitals one or two at a time, along with half the 107th precinct and the local firehouse, in just minutes, and swiftly block off almost all the available lanes and one nearly runs me over and create worse traffic conditions then was there before and nearly cause at least a dozen accidents that I saw.

Moral of the story: If I get into another accident, I hope it's with an ambulance.
